| ¾ cup | Flour |
| ½ teaspoon | Baking soda |
| ¼ teaspoon | Salt |
| ½ cup | Sugar |
| ½ cup | Softened lightly salted butter or margarine |
| 1 | Egg |
| 1 | (1-oz) square melted semisweet chocolate |
| 1 tablespoon | Bourbon |
| 1 teaspoon | Vanilla |
| ½ cup | Semisweet chocolate chips |
| ½ cup | Chopped pecans |
Preheat oven to 400øF, prepare pans. In a bowl mix first three ingredients.
In another bowl cream butter & sugar until light & fluffy, beat in chocolate, egg, bourbon & vanilla. Add dry mix to wet mix until just combined, stir in chips & nuts. Spoon into pans & bake for 15-20 mins or until done. Makes 9. These muffins freeze well.
