Chinese marinated steak

Measure Ingredient
1½ teaspoon VEGETABLE OIL
1½ teaspoon LOW SODIUM SOY SAUCE
1½ tablespoon MAPLE SYRUP
1½ tablespoon RED WINE VINEGAR
1½ teaspoon GINGER
½ teaspoon GARLIC POWDER
16 ounces BONELESS SIRLOIN STEAK

COMBINE OIL, SOY SAUCE, SYRUP, VINEGAR, GINGER AND GARLIC. TRIM FAT FROM STEAK. MARINATE IN SAUCE UNTIL TIME TO COOK. REMOVE STEAKS FROM MARINADE.

RESERVE MARINADE FOR LATER USE. PREPARE STOVE TOP GRILL OR PREHEAT BROILER. GRILL OR BROIL FOR 5 MINUTES ON EACH SIDE AND TURN ONCE OR TWICE.

BRUSH WITH MARINATE EACH TIME YOU TURN. BROIL UNTIL DESIRED DONENESS.
