Cherry plneapple cake

Measure Ingredient
2 cans Tart red cherries -- 16 oz
\N each Drained
1 can Crushed pineapple
20 ounces In syrup,undrained
⅓ cup Walnuts -- finely chopped
1 pack Whlte cake mix
18¼ ounce (without pudding)
½ cup Butter or margarine --
\N \N Melted
\N \N Whipped cream, optional

Spread cherries and pineapple with juice over the bottom of an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Top with nuts. Sprinkle dry cake mix over all. Pour butter evenly over cake mix. Bake at 350 deg. for 1 hour. Cool. Invert onto a serving plate. Cut into squares.
