¼ cup | Butter; melted |
4 tablespoons | Cheese spread |
2 tablespoons | Diced green chilis |
2 \N | Green onions; chopped, including tops |
2 cups | Diced cooked chicken |
1 cup | Chicken white sauce -Chicken White Sauce--- |
2 tablespoons | Butter or margarine |
2 tablespoons | Flour |
1 cup | Chicken broth or 1 cup water with 2 |
1 teaspoon | Chicken Bouillon Base |
2 drops | Hot sauce |
Cheesy Chicken: In a small bowl combine cracker crumbs and taco seasoning.
Mix in melted butter. Set aside. Combine cheese spread, green chiles, onions and chicken in an 8 inch square baking dish. Crumble cracker mixture over top. Pour sauce over. Cover with~ wax paper. Microwave at medium high (70%) until heated through, 6 to 8 minutes. Serve over rice or noodles.
Makes 4 servings.
Chicken White Sauce Place butter in a 2 cup measure. Microwave a high (100%) until melted, 30 seconds. Stir in flour. in chicken broth. Microwave at medium high (70%) until thickened, 4 to 5 minutes, stirring twice during cooking time.
