Celery-apple dressing for turkey

Yield: 1 unknown

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Apples; peeled and chopped
1 cup Celery; chopped
1 medium Onion; chopped
⅓ cup Buttter (or shortening)
1 teaspoon Salt
⅛ teaspoon Pepper
6 cups Bread cubes, stale
2 tablespoons Water; or liquid from cooked giblets

Prepare apples. Saute celery and onion in butter; add salt and pepper, bread and apples. Sprinkle with water. More moisture will come from the apples, and the cooked dressing will not be dry. Mix dressing well and stuff turkey. Yield: enough for a 10 to 12 pound turkey.
