Caramel dip for apples

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pack (14 oz) caramels
½ cup Half and half
4 ounces Cream cheese

Unwrap carmels; place with half and half in double boiler or microwaveable bowl. using a microwave at 50 percent power, stir often until melted. Using a souble boiler, cook over simmering heat, stirring often until melted. Let caramel cool. Using a whisk or electric mixer, beat cream cheese into caramel mixture. Serve with apple slices or sugar cookies.
