canadian pickles
| Measure | Ingredient |
|---|---|
| 2 quarts | Sliced cucumbers |
| ½ cup | Water |
| 2 cups | Sugar |
| 1 cup | Vinegar |
| ½ teaspoon | Alum |
| 1 teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 teaspoon | Dry mustard |
| 2 teaspoons | Tumeric |
Mix everything together except cucumbers. Bring to a boil. Add cucumbers to liquid and bring to boil again. Fill jars and seal. Hot water bath 15 minutes.
