| ½ cup | Shortening |
| ¾ cup | Granulated Sugar |
| 2 | Eggs |
| 2 cups | Flour |
| 1 teaspoon | Cinnamon |
| 1 teaspoon | Baking Soda |
| ½ teaspoon | Salt |
| ½ teaspoon | Nutmeg |
| 1 cup | Canned Applesauce |
| 1 pack | Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bits |
| ½ cup | Raisins |
| ½ cup | Chopped Nuts |
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Add dry ingredients alternately with applesauce and beat. Add remaining ingredients and mix.
Bake in a greased 13 x 9 x 3 inch pan in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.
