Measure | Ingredient |

1 cup | Chopped onion |
1 \N | Clove minced garlic |
1 can | (8-oz) tomato sauce |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
1 cup | Chopped green pepper |
2 tablespoons | Oil or shortening |
1 can | (15-oz) pinto beans |
3 cups | Hot cooked rice |
In large skillet cook onions, peppers and garlic in fat until tender. Stir in tomato sauce, beans and salt; simmer 10 minutes. Serve over beds of rice.
