|3 tablespoons||Butter or margarine|
|2 cups||Chopped green cabbage|
|1 cup||Finely shredded carrots|
|2⅔ cup||Instant potato flakes|
In medium saucepan combine water, milk, and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Add cabbage and carrots and reduce heat to low.
Simmer 3 to 4 minutes until vegetables are tender. Remove from heat and stir in potato flakes with fork until mixture is well blended.
Stir in salt and pepper. 8 servings.
