½ pounds | American cheese |
1 large | Onion; chopped fine |
½ \N | Bell pepper; chopped fine |
2 larges | Pieces celery; chopped fine |
2 mediums | Heads cabbage |
½ pint | Coffee cream |
\N \N | Bread crumbs |
Coarsely cut cabbage and boil until tender. Saut onion, pepper and celery in butter. Put in drained cabbage and cook 15 minutes. Add ½ lb. cheese and ½ pint coffee cream, add red pepper and salt to taste. Put in well-greased casserole and cover with bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
