Buttermilk bread

Yield: 1 loaf

Measure Ingredient
1⅛ cup Buttermilk *
3 tablespoons Honey
3 cups Bread flour
1½ teaspoon Salt
⅞ cup Buttermilk **
2 tablespoons Honey
2 cups Bread flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine
2¼ teaspoon Red Star Active Dry Yeast
3 teaspoons Gluten (optional)
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine
1½ teaspoon Red Star Active Dry Yeast
2 teaspoons Gluten (optional)

1½ LB LOAF

1 LB LOAF

* For Welbilt/DAK and Zojirushi machines add 2 tablespoons more buttermilk ** For Welbilt machine, add 1 tablespoon more buttermilk.

Have all ingredients at room temperature. (For my Hitachi I microwave the liquid ingredients)

Place all ingredients in bread machine according to manufacturers suggestion. Select light setting.
