Brie almondine

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Brie; 17-ounce cheese wheel
3 tablespoons Grey poupon spicy brown mustard
2 tablespoons Fleischmann's margarine
2 tablespoons Dry sherry
1 tablespoon Apricot preserves
⅓ cup Planters sliced almonds; toasted
\N \N Sage sprigs for garnish
\N \N Crackers; french bread or fruit pieces

On greased broiler pan, broil cheese 6 inches from heat source for 8 to 10 minutes or until soft.

In small saucepan, heat mustard, margarine, sherry and preserves to a boil.

Reduce heat; simmer 1 minute. Place cheese on serving platter. Spoon mustard mixture over cheese; top with almonds and garnish with sage if desired. Serve with crackers, french bread or assorted fruit pieces.
