Measure Ingredient
1 \N Box cake mix
2 \N Eggs for chewy bars or 3 eggs for cake bars
1 \N Whole can pie filling; (21 oz.)
½ cup Chopped nuts (optional)
2 cups Powdered sugar
1 \N Whole pkg. cream cheese; (8 oz.) softened
3 tablespoons Cocoa

FROSTING

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, combine mix, eggs, pie filling and nuts. Spread this mixture on a greased jellyroll pan. Bake 30 minutes. For Frosting: Combine ingredients in bowl and spread over cooled cake. Cut into bars. Yield: 12 to 15 servings. Variations: Chocolate cake mix, cherry pie filling. Spice cake mix, apple pie filling. Banana cake mix, blueberry pie filling. Strawberry cake mix, strawberry pie filling.
