Bran banana bars

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup All-purpose flour
1 cup Bran flake cereal; crushed
¼ cup Firmly packed brown sugar
1½ teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Baking soda
¼ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Skim milk
2 \N Eggs
1 \N Carrot; shredded
1 large Ripe banana; mashed
⅓ cup Chopped walnuts

Lightly grease an 8 inch square baking pan. In a medium bowl, combine, flour,cereal, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well. In a small bowl, combine milk, eggs, carrot, banana and nuts. Add to dry ingredients, mixing well. Spoon batter into pan. Bake at 375 F for 25 to 35 minutes or until browned. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into 12 bars.
