Braised red onions

Yield: 1 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 ounce Butter/margarine
4 larges Red onions, thinly sliced
\N \N Salt & freshly ground black pepper

Melt the butter in heavy-based pot over a moderate heat. Add the onions & cook gently till translucent. Season, then cover & simmer over a very low heat for 20 minutes. Stir & transfer to a warmed serving dish.
