Measure | Ingredient |

5 pounds | All-purpose flour |
3 tablespoons | Salt |
2½ cup | Powdered milk |
2 tablespoons | Cream of tartar |
½ cup | Sugar |
2 pounds | Vegetable shortening |
¾ cup | Baking powder |
Stir together dry ingredients; cut in shortening until it resembles corn meal. Place in large container; keep cool.
Biscuits: 3 c. Homemade Bisquick ¾ c. water Blend and knead about 10 strokes. Cut out and bake in preheated 450 degrees oven.
