Bishop's bread

Yield: 8 servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Flour
1½ teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
⅔ cup Chocolate pieces
2 cups Chopped nuts
1 cup Chopped dates
1 cup Maraschino cherries, drained
3 eaches Eggs, beatened
1 cup Sugar

Grease a loaf pan and line it with waxed paper. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in the chocolate pieces, nuts, dates and cherries and mix until ingredients are coated with flour. Fold the beaten eggs and sugar into flour mixture until combined. Bake 1½ hours.
