best of philly brownies

MeasureIngredient
1 cup All-purpose flour
½ cup Plus 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Baking powder
5 tablespoons Butter
1¼ cup Sugar
Egg
Egg whites
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon Espresso in 1 teaspoon of water

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray 8-inch square pan w/ vegetable oil.

Stir together the first 4 ingrdients and set them aside. Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in the sugar, add the egg, egg whites, vanilla and espresso.

Beat w/ wooden spoon until well combined. Scrape mixture into prepared pan.

Bake 20-25 minutes.

Yield: 1 batch
