Berry fillings for pierogies

Yield: 40 servings

Measure Ingredient
4 cups Fresh blueberries
\N \N Alternate berries are
4 cups Blackberries - or
4 cups Raspberries - or
4 cups Sliced strawberries
3 teaspoons Sugar

Wash berries; drain. In a medium bowl, sprinkle berries with sugar.

Mix lightly. Fill pierogi shells and process immediately, before juice is drawn out of fruit. Makes about 4 cups or enough to fill 40 to 45 pierogies.
