Beer batter

Measure Ingredient
¼ pounds All-purpose flour
1 \N Egg
6 ounces Beer
\N \N Seltzer water -- to thin to
\N \N Proper consistency
\N \N Salt -- as desired

Use this for onion rings or fried chicken. The thicker the batter, the heavier the coating. Adjust to your preference.

MIX EGGS AND FLOUR together, then thin out with beer and then seltzer.
