16 ounces | Pork and beans with tom. sc. |
⅓ cup | Applesauce |
¼ teaspoon | Allspice, ground |
2 tablespoons | Almonds, slivered; toasted |
Brown chops and cook onion in shortening until tender in heavy skillet. Cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Add beans, applesauce, and allspice; cook, covered, 15 minutes or until the chops are tender. Stir occasionally. Garnish with almonds.
