Bay country crab soup

Yield: 5 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Beef shin, bone in
3 quarts Water
1 large Onion, chopped
2 larges Stalks celery, chopped
1 pounds Can of tomatos
1 tablespoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Black pepper
⅛ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
10 ounces Package frozen mixed vegetables
1 \N Pckg fresh or frozen mixed soup vegetables
1 pounds Maryland crab meat
½ pounds Maryland claw crabmeat

Put first 8 ingredients in a large pan and simmer, covered, until meat is very tender, about 3 hours. Add rest of ingredients and simmer, covered, until vegetables are done.

Makes about 5 quarts of soup.
