6 cups | Pared and diced potatoes (4) |

1 cup | Sliced celery |
2 tablespoons | Chopped celery leaves |
1½ cup | Water |
2 \N | Beef bouillon cubes |
1 \N | Bay leaf |
1 tablespoon | Salt |
½ teaspoon | Thyme |
¼ teaspoon | Pepper |
1 tablespoon | Lemon juice |
In large saucepan or kettle, brown sausage over medium heat. Add onion and cook for 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
A little tabasco sauce to taste is good with this. It actually improves in flavor as a leftover.
