1 cup | Fresh basil |
¼ cup | Pine nuts |
3 \N | Garlic cloves |
½ cup | Olive oil (or as needed) |
3 tablespoons | Heavy cream |
In a blender place the basil, pine nuts, and garlic. Puree them so that they are smooth. With the blender running on low, slowly dribble in enough of the olive oil until a pureed consistency is achieved (do not add too much oil). Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, and stir them in.
