Basic oatburger

Yield: 20 servings

Measure Ingredient
4½ cup Water
⅓ cup Oil OR
1 \N Large onion, diced
¼ cup Italian seasoning
\N \N nutriti nal yeast
½ cup Soy sauce
½ cup Nuts, ground
1 teaspoon Garlic salt
¼ cup Flaked

Bring all ingredients to a boil. Turn down heat and add 4½ c.

rolled oats. Do not stir. Cook about five minutes. Then set aside to cool. Form patties with oiled mason jar lid. Place on oiled cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, turning every 15 minutes. Serve with ketchup or gravy. Makes about 20 ~25 medium sized burgers.
