barbecue sauce (06/15/93)

12 ounces Ketchup
4 tablespoons Sugar
2 tablespoons Molasses
2 tablespoons Cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Barbecue spice rub
2 teaspoons Worchestershire sauce
½ teaspoon Dry mustard
⅛ teaspoon Onion powder
⅛ teaspoon Garlic powder
⅛ teaspoon Smoke flavoring

Combine all ingredients well. Place in small saucepan and bring to a boil.

Reducew heat and simmer, uncovered for one hour.

Variations: add cayenne pepper for hotter sauce. Increase liquid smoke for smokier sauce.
