DIRECTIONS
In a skillet cook the pork sausage and the chopped apple till sausage is brown; drain off fat. Set aside. Cook the noodles in boiling salted water till al dente. Immediately drain in a colander. Rinse with cold water; drain. Combine the 2 eggs, the ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese, dry bread crumbs, and chopped onion. Pour the egg mixture over the noodles; toss to coat. Turn mixture into a greased 9 inch quiche dish or pie plate. Combine the 1 beaten egg, cream style cottage cheese, and ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese; stir in the sausage and apple mixture. Spoon mixture over the noodles in the quiche dish or pie plate. Bake in a 350F oven for 20-25 minutes or till heated through. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with parsley, and cut into wedges to serve. Makes 6 main dish servings.
