SAUCE
STIR FRY
Mix together a tablespoon or two of fermented black beans, a clove of minced garlic, a little soy sauce, minced fresh ginger, sherry and cornstarch to make a sauce. Cut asparagus spears into 1-inch diagonal slices.
Heat a little oil in a wok and stir- fry the mixture for a minute or two, until the asparagus is tender, but still bright green. Pour in the sauce and stir for a minute or two longer.
