1⅓ cup | Oat bran |
½ cup | Raisins |
1 \N | Apple, shredded |
1 tablespoon | Maple syrup |
½ teaspoon | Ground caraway seeds |
½ teaspoon | Ground cinnamon |
1 cup | (1-2) Skim milk |
In a 2-quart saucepan, bring the water and oat bran to a vigorous boil, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until thick.
Remove from heat and stir in the raisins, apples, maple syrup, caraway, and cinnamon. Let stand 5 minutes. Spoon into bowls and serve with the milk.
