| ⅓ cup | Nuts -- chopped |
| ½ cup | Brown sugar |
| ½ teaspoon | Cinnamon |
| 40 ounces | Canned yams |
| ¼ cup | Butter |
| 2 cups | Miniature marshmallows |
| (optional) |
Toss apples and nuts; combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Alternate layers of apples and yams in 1½ quart casserole dish. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
Optional: sprinkle with marshmallows. Broil till lightly browned.
