4 tablespoons | Rice vinegar; (white or apple cider vinegar will do) |
4 tablespoons | Fresh basil; minced |
2 tablespoons | Lemon juice |
1 tablespoon | Ginger root; minced |
1 cup | Unsweetened applesauce |
1 tablespoon | Brown sugar |
1 teaspoon | Chili sauce; (I used a red Thai variety from the supermarket) |
1 teaspoon | Toasted sesame oil |

This dressing has only 1t of fat. It is a little unusual in texture. It was recommended for a cole-slaw type salad.
Just mix everything together.
