| ¼ cup | Butter |
| 1 cup | Sugar |
| 1 | Egg |
| ¼ teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 teaspoon | Cinnamon |
| 1 teaspoon | Nutmeg |
| 1 teaspoon | Baking soda |
| 1 cup | Flour |
| ½ cup | Chopped nuts |
| 2½ cup | Diced apples |
| 1 teaspoon | Vanilla |
| 2 tablespoons | Hot water |
Combine ingredients in order given. (Batter will be thick). Bake in a greased 9-inch pie pan for 45 minutes at 350F. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream. Delish.
