2 eaches Unbaked pie crusts
4 cups Water
1½ cup Sugar
4 teaspoons Cream of tartar
40 eaches Ritz Crackers
2 tablespoons Butter
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
1 each Juice & grated rind of lemon

Make your favorite pie crust (top and bottom).Boil water,sugar and cream of tartar.Add whole crackers,1 at a time.Boil 2 minutes.Add remaining ingredients.Cool.Pour into prepared pie shell.Cover with top crust.Slit top for steam vents.Bake @ 425 degrees for 10 minutes.Reduce heat to 350 degrees.Continue to bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.Remove from oven. Cool.Makes 1 pie.
