Apple date torte

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
4 cups Apples; unpared/diced
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder
1 \N Egg
1 tablespoon Butter; melted
1 teaspoon Vanilla
½ cup Nuts
½ cup Dates; cut up
\N \N Whipped cream; whipped topping, OR ice cream

Combine all ingredients except whipped cream in order given. Stir but do not beat. Pour into greased 8" square pan. BAke at 400 F. for 40 minutes.

Serve with whipped cream, topping or ice cream.
