Apple cheese spread

Measure Ingredient
8 ounces Cream cheese -- soft
1 cup Grated cheddar cheese -- at
\N \N Room temp
2 tablespoons Brandy or sherry
1 medium Size apple (Granny Smith --
\N \N Or the like)
¼ teaspoon Black pepper
1 teaspoon Dried thyme
1 teaspoon Dried basil
1 teaspoon Dried oregano

Combine the cheeses, and brandy. Beat till smooth. Peel, core, and grate the apple into the bowl. Sprinkle w/ the pepper and the herbs. Stir till combined. Spoon into a bowl (or crock), cover, and chill about an hour.

Serve on toast or crackers.
