3½ cup | Brown rice, cooked |
6 ounces | Apple juice concentrate *1 |
6 ounces | Water |
1½ cup | Apple, chopped |
1 teaspoon | Cinnamon |
\N \N | Equal sweetner to taste *2 |
½ cup | Walnuts, chopped |
*1 use apple juice with no sugar added. *2 can be substituted with any comparable sweetner.
Place first 4 ingredients in sauce pan and bring to a boil. reduce heat to medium high. Cook 5-8 minutes or until liquid cooks down and apples are tender. Stir constantly. Pour into 4 bowls, sprinkle on sweetner and top with walnuts.
