150 grams | Anchovies; 5 oz |
2 decilitres | Olive oil |
\N \N | Peanut oil |
6 \N | Garlic cloves; peeled |
3 tablespoons | Vinegar |
\N \N | Water; if needed |
Wash anchovies to remove salt. Place enchovies, garlic and basil in a small food processor. Process adding oil as for mayonnaise. Add vinegar and process ½ minute. If too thick add a little water. Chill Based on Barbara Kafka's " Party Foods" NOTES : Great with toasts or crudites.
