|1 medium||Onion finely chopped|
|¾ pounds||Lean ground beef/lamb|
|Salt and pepper|
|½ teaspoon||Ground cinnamon or 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice|
|⅓ cup||Pine nuts optional|
Heat the butter in a frying pan. Fry onions until transparent. Add the meat and fry it, tossing it and squashing with a fork, until it changes color. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and cinnamon and stir in the optional pine nuts. Moisten with a few tablespoons of water and cook gently, covered, until meat is very tender.
